My name is Emma and Bumbleblue is my small business based in Denby, Derbyshire. It's from here that I carefully design and hand paint rustic little pieces for your home.

A gentle mix of my background in Illustration and a love of natural materials, the idea for Bumbleblue sparked in the house I grew up in - a bright blue, cosy home in the middle of the Derbyshire countryside. During the early days, I delivered most of my creations in my first car 'Bumble' so Bumbleblue fell into place and stuck.

All of my products are hand cut, sanded and painted using carefully sourced materials - often from other small businesses.
